Human Farm
Posted in Sketches on May 10th, 2010 by Rose in the mudone more rough sketch with no texture yet.
so far this took about 4.5 hours to do.
I think I`ll keep doing the same theme for the next few sketches…
Pigs are Blue
Posted in Sketches on May 8th, 2010 by Rose in the mudAnother rough sketch with a texture… took about 5 hours to model and to texture, etc.
started this one without any sense of direction, it just turned out a bit more strange than I imagined.
No guns
Posted in Sketches on March 29th, 2010 by Rose in the mudmy current WIP, still very rough.
so far the body model took me 6 hours to make, including the face.
And it was all done without any foto reference.
This one slowly turned out quite different from my initial plan…
Maybe I`ll do a rough GI render when I finish this.

More Horns
Posted in Sketches on October 13th, 2009 by Rose in the mudAdded the accessories,
I think this turned out into a cross between a rock star and a native of some kind. hmmm… interesting.
Old man sketch
Posted in Sketches on October 4th, 2009 by Rose in the mudAgain trying to to the same as I did before on a few of my sketches, starting with a really simple mesh.
Still not quite finished yet, maybe next I`ll do the hair and some accessories, etc.
so far, this one took around 6 hours to model

Gi Breed
Posted in Sketches on September 18th, 2009 by Rose in the mudAnother quick sketch, not much detail. The hair strands were modeled individualy from a box. And It all took around 4 hours to model.
Also I never had much interest to properly render anything until now, just thought I might give it a try, and my latest CPU upgrade helped ease my lack of patience on this one.
Old Posts
Posted in Portfolio on September 17th, 2009 by Rose in the mudI`ve updated my website to work with Wordpress, the previous format was just too much trouble.
I added most of the old stuff into this single post.
-Little King
Since I was looking to practice some cloth wrinkles, I though it would be fun to do the boy from the movie Where the Wild Things Are.
Also I was experimenting with making the base mesh with meta-balls but in the end it just messed up the whole painting process. The uneven noisy quads are quite noticeable up close.
This one took around 4 hours to make.
- Girl Sketch
Stuff I did a few weeks back, all pretty rough, used mudbox 2009, did a quick color pass in the end quite rough, really just got sick of the old monochrome color.
Took 2 and a half hours to model the girl.

– Wrinkled man
It’s been a while since I’ve done anything, and looking back to the stuff ive done here so far it looks pretty much outdated, still got a lot to learn. so I think I’ll try to get back to it by doing a few quick 3d sketches for practice intead of polygon modeling as I used to do on the past.
This one took about 6 hours to model on mudbox, and another 1 hour for the hair, trying not to pay too much attention to small details but just the main silhouette and feel. used a cuboid like mesh as a starting point.
- Bullish thing
Something close to a bull, 4 hour modeling from a simple mesh.

- Female anatomy study
Decided to do a sculpt to improve my anatomy skill. Also took some time to test out some hair shape ideas.

- Portfolio Update
Been very busy working on my portfolio, here’s some of the works I created so far, most of them are still very WIP.
Some of the character designs are easy to recognize I think, they were inspired by some of my favorite games.
